Coding Music: The New Deal
I normally listen to classical when coding ( because I’m a snob ). But lately, I’ve been working with The New Deal filling my headphones.
iTunes has two of their albums up and I grabbed a few live performances from etree.
I saw TND live a bunch of times during university, so that makes me cool as well as snobby.

Biking with your iPod?
Ever since I started biking to work I’ve paid more attention to other bikers. I’m really surprised at the number of riders that ride while listening to an iPod.
Seems like an accident waiting to happen. A bloody, messy accident.

Ya, biking is already relatively dangerous- removing one of your senses doesn’t seem like a good idea. Plus, having “Uptown Girl” playing while the paramedics are brushing the gravel out of your eyeball probably doesn’t add much to the experience.

The pacing of Munich is so slow it took me right out of the movie. That was disappointing.

how long are those good for? or are they affordable enough that you can get many pairs for a reasonable price?
sort of related, my mom got her eyes lasered 2 weeks ago with Herzig. within 4 hours after the surgery she could see as well as i can. 48 hours later she was cleared to drive. 7 days later she could swim in public pools. pretty neat stuff.

I’m still scared of the long-term effects on my eyes.
