Game one of the Winter Ultimate season is tonight.

Akin to the anticipation of the MacWorld keynote, I’m vibrating with excitement.

    Update: Lost a squeaker, 44 – 42, currently 10th out of 12.

    OMG iPhone

    Must buy.

I have a concern about the cost of the monthly plan. I assume that you’d want unlimited data access as the iPhone has so much net functionality that you won’t truly experience it unless it’s all you-can-eat data.

I should do a rate comparison
    Bell: $100/Month, 250megs
    Fido: N/A
    Rogers: 100/Month, 200megs

Ouch, being all cool in the future is going to be expensive.

    iPhone wiki page.

In other Mac news, my brother received a MacBook from his wife as a birthday present. Go Andrea. So that’s my whole family with Macs. Hell yes!

My guess is that you will have to live with the Rogers price as I doubt Apple will make a CDMA version that would be compatible with Bell’s network…

      Boo Rogers… Boo.

Did you hear the collective gasps of everyone when Jobs pulled that thing out?

I haven’t watched the Keynote yet. I was following along with the live blogs.

    Greed wins again.

On Deal or No Deal, a woman, with the help of her family, turned down $92,000, then $189,000, then $299,000, then $144,000, then $70,000 to finally walk away with $25,000.

    Burn!

    Recent Music: January 07/2007

Recently been rocking out to/singing along with:

John Legend – “Once Again” – this dude can sing! It’s that effortless voice like John Pizzarelli and Diana Krall.

Protokoll – “EP” – They’re hard to describe. Rock with disco basslines??? Great, regardless.

North Face shoes: Plasma XCR Boa

A metal cable instead of laces? Interesting, I can finally give up my velcro runners. Hotness.

37Signals has a great entry about the Boa.

I bought these instead: New Balance M872BK

Soloman also does these….it’s catching on. I read an article about a guy that did 50 marathons in 50 days and he swears by these, it alleviates a problem that he describes as “Lace Management”.

I read the same article in Wired I think. 50 marathons in 50 days. What a lunatic.

I’m going to look at a pair of Endurus tonight. http://www.thenorthface.com/opencms/opencms/tnf/gear.jsp?site=CA&model=AE4F

off topic, but i’m wondering what you think about what this guy is saying on my blog:

i’m sure you’re more well-versed than i am when it comes to environmental issues, just wondering what you think of this guy’s/girl’s opinions.

off topic, but i’m wondering what you think about what this guy is saying on my blog:

Seems like he’s made up his mind. And seems a bit jacked up about the subject, but the majority of what he’s written is empty. “Can’t prevent it”, “can’t stop it”, “volcanos spew more greenhouse gases than cars.” Those aren’t facts or numbers to prove anything. It’s a complicated issue that requires a lot of reading to make up your mind, read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming_controversy and decide. I like science and science tells me things are going poorly.

    2007 and you.

2007 will be known as the year I turn down the suck.

You may be thinking to yourself, “how can I help?” I’ll tell you. All you have to do is suck more, then by comparing and contrasting I’ll look better.
So I’ll have accomplished my goal by not changing at all. C’mon people, it’s win*-lose**!!!

    *: me
    **: you

HAHAHA. Not a bad idea….of course, as your wife if I suck, then that would probably reflect poorly on you and pull you down farther. Not sure if that’s how the suck-o-meter works though!

    • Tyler Weir 11:08 am on January 2, 2007 Permalink

This is a very advanced SuckMeasure RP10. The granularity of recording and measurement ensures that I’ll be OK even if you decide to give-up and phone it in for ’07.
