I shot a bunch of pictures to learn about our D40.
Laura and I are heading to Ireland for 2 and a bit weeks, so we picked up one of them-there fancy-pants Nikon D40 digitmatal cameras.
I expect to touch a computer as little as possible. But maybe pics will appear on my Flickr page.
Oh and the iPhone is out in the States today. It’s inevitable that I’ll get on when they show up in Canada. The great thing is all the plans offered by AT&T/Apple have unlimited data. Data access is where you get screwed in Canada. If the same plans are available here, then my main argument against the iPhone is gone, other than the price of the device itself of course. :)
OMG….
Do as many KB swings as you can in a minute, let that be x. I did 35.
Then your rep count for all the exercises is 60 – x, or 25 for me.
- x Double Unders or 5x normal skipping
- x Atomic Situps
- x KB High Pulls
- x Ball Slam (16lbs)
- x DB Thrusters (15lbs)
- x Jumping Pullups
- x Burpees
- x KB swings
10:24, I think. I’ll have to check my book.

6 rounds 35s on/15s off of each exercise:

- 20 inch Box Jumps
- DB Cleans (25lbs bells)
- Wall Ball (14lbs)
I took down the numbers, but I don’t remember.
Rowing Day
5 rounds of 500m, I rowed and Laura nitpicked my form, then Laura rowed and I kept my mouth shut. :)
1 – 1:56
2 – 1:54
3 – 1:52
4 – 1:52
5 – 1:45
8 games in 3 days makes for a tired Tyler.
6 rounds for time of:
- 10 Dumbbell Cleans per side (30lbs)
- 15 Pushups
- 20 Ball Slams (16lbs)
17:24.
After six games this weekend I was a bit tired and it showed in my performance today.
5 rounds of:
- 20 Lunges
- 15 Kettlebell Swings
- 10 Jumping Pullups
- 5 Burpees
Completed in 10:24.
Partner workout day, if you weren’t doing an exercise you were rowing, the team that rowed the furthest won (we totally won):
- 50 Situps
- 50 Pushups
- 50 Ball Slams (16lbs)
- 50 DB Thrusters (15lbs)
James and I rowed 3724 m and finished in 17:24. Won the distance, second in time, Laura and Jill finished it in 17:12.
