- Pullups – worst round = 7
- Ball Slams (16lbs) – worst round = 10
- Box Jumps (20 inch height) – worst round = 8
- DB Push Press (15lbs) – worst round = 10
Pullups, always with the suck.
Total: 35
30 – 20 – 10 reps of:
- Wall Ball (14lbs)
- Sumo Dead Lift High Pull (65lbs)

I’m tired from the tournament on the weekend plus the game last night. The Sumo lifts were a lot harder than they should have been.
In the sumo deadlift link, he uses the phrase “for all intents and purposes.” Up until about age 18 I thought it was “for all intensive purposes.”
Benchmark workout day… after 7 games of Ultimate on the weekend. Dammit.
Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes:
- 5 Burpees
- 10 Situps
- 15 Kettlebell Swings
I did 10 rounds + 5 BPs + 10 Situps. Laura was 3 swings shy of 9 rounds.
Not bad all things considered.

- Dumbbell Thrusters (15lbs)
- Ball Slams (16lbs)

120 reps of each... 120 * 30lbs = 3600 lbs of DB Thrusters and 120 * 16 = 1800 lbs of Ball Slams.
And Laura rocked 12..1 reps of the same with scaled weights.

- Push Press (15lbs dumbbells, 17, 16, 16, 16, 16)
- Pullups (8, 8, 8, 8, 8)
- Walking Lunges (2.5xgym length, 2.5x, 2.3x, 2.1x, 2.0)
1 minute at each station, 4 rounds of:
- Pushups
- Rowing
- Dead Lift (65lbs)
I didn’t record anything, but my body fat % is down to 16.
Damn! Eight people are at the 6am class. Lots of bleary red eyes.
Just a simple intro workout:
- 10 minutes of:
20 Wall Ball Shots (14lbs)
15 Situps
10 Pushups
5 Pullups
We did this a partner, so when they were working the other person was skipping. I hate skipping.
We got through 2 rounds plus I did 20 Wall Ball Shots.
Laura and Jill are joining me for this round. Nothing like waking up at 5:30 am for a month. :)

If you’re gonna write your workout in psuedo code, at least get your loop moving in the right direction! ;-)
