    CrossFit: August 31 / Heroes 

    Tabata Intervals – 8 rounds of 20s on, 10s off – of:
    - Wall Ball (20lbs)
    - Sumo Deadlift High Pulls
    - Burpees
    - Jumping Pullups

    Score only the worst round:
    Wall Ball – 10 reps
    High Pulls – 10 reps
    Burpees – 4 reps – I think I could have done 5
    Jumping Pullups – 12 reps – on the transition the person on the station before me took their sweet ass time and it killed my score, should have been about 18.

    Score: 36

    In other more awesome news, Laura is currently having breakfast with the cast of Heroes. Super cool beans!

    CrossFit: Rowing Day 

    After a normal warm up we did 500m row cycles.
    1. 1:42 (damper at 7)
    2. 1:46 (damper at 10)
    3. 1:37 (damper at 8) – There’s a personal record.

    Max rounds in 20 minutes of:
    - 25 Double Unders
    - 20 Box Jump (24 inch box)
    - 15 GluteHam Situps
    - 10 Burpees

    I did 5 rounds + Double Unders + 20 box jumps.

    And Laura and I went to Monica and Todd’s cottage. I took the camera.

    - 30 reps of 75 lbs Push Press
    - 30 reps of 1 pood KB Sumo Deadlift High Pull – I did one round of 75 lbs SDHP then moved to the KB
    - 60 steps of walking lunges

    25:26, total pwnage.

    - 1.5 pood Kettlebell Swings
    - 24 inch Box Jump
    - Glute Ham Situps

    I scored all my rounds, I didn’t bring the paper though.

    CrossFit: Fight Gone Bad 

    Scaled Fight Gone Bad:
    3 rounds of 1 minute of each exercise plus 1 minute of rest:
    - 14 lbs Wall Ball
    - 55 lbs Sumo Deadlift High Pull
    - 20 inch Box Jump
    - 55 lbs Push Press
    - Rowing – for calories

    Total reps: 285

    I also decided it would be a good idea to smash my right hand while doing box jump. That was a pretty good idea.
