    Oh, it has shipped.

Yesterday I said it hadn’t shipped and I just got notification that my iPod Touch is on it’s way.

    beep beep.

    iPod Touch concerns

My pre-order has yet to ship and I have a few concerns with Touch.

    1) Lack of Mail application (gmail on the web may work instead)
    2) No Google Maps application (google maps on the web may work, but goofy in comparison)
    3) Inability to add Calendar events (seems like such an odd thing to not include)

My hope is that Apple will add these in future updates to the firmware.

I’d like to know the reasons for these decisions, but I’ll never know.

That girl is … incredibly fast. She’s not there, and then a split second later- bang! There she is, looking completely relaxed and composed like she just does that all the time.

Are you all going to be that fast when you are done with the training?

    • Tyler Weir 12:23 pm on September 21, 2007 Permalink

My goal is to be faster than the shutter of the camera. You won’t even see me.

Coming soon to a theatre near you: White Men Can Jump, starring Tyler Weir.

I’d hate to see what happens if you don’t make the jump.

Bad things happen, basically you’re cut from knee to ankle on your shin.

hope you’re not speaking from personal experience

    • Tyler Weir 8:25 am on September 25, 2007 Permalink

      No, I’ve never “shinned” myself.

Mourinho leaves Chelsea? WTF? that’s a shame, such a great manager.

Taking a week off of training.

This week is a rest week from CrossFit. There is a lot of research that suggests taking regular time off and maybe it’s right, who knows. I do know that the recovery time will be well received.

This past weekend I subbed for meanPeace and got to play with Josee, one of the ladies from Capitals, the #1 East Coast womens touring teams. It was a great learning experience and I should have tried to get more advice, but I didn’t want to be an ass.

And Laura took a picture of me seconds before I ripped my finger open on a nail. I’m so awesome.
    Doing my monkey impression.

be honest, is that a part of the crossfit routine, or are you just horsing around?

    • Tyler Weir 12:18 pm on September 19, 2007 Permalink

      Horsing around. Oh ya.
