Nike MaxSight Amber Contacts: A second review
I had another game and wore the MaxSight contacts. It was a lot more sunny last night and compared to the last review the contacts made a much bigger difference.
They’re like sunglasses, but with much better contrast.

Please note….when Ty says he looks insane with the contacts in; that’s an understatement. Last night, when I got home from work I couldn’t even look him in the eyes. Because they are creeeeeepy.

That’s a bit of a downside…

Bolle Ski Goggles
I've heard first time that contact lenses act as sunglasses. Interesting.

Nike MaxSight Amber Contacts: A review.
I picked up a pair of Amber MaxSight contacts from Nike/Bausch and Lomb.
[update]: here’s a followup review in brighter conditions.
Sport:
- Ultimate FrisbeeConditions:
- overcast and raining, then clear but low hanging sun, not really that bright
- white disc against a dark skyThoughts:
- Light and dark colours stood out, for example green grass next to brown dying grass had distinct lines.
- The lenses act a bit like sunglasses as the sun was not as bright, I didn’t have to squint at all when the sun came out.
- The white disc against the dark sky and darker ground stood out like a light. It was surprising.
- When the sun had gone down it was too dark to feel comfortable driving at night, so I brought my glasses.
- Overall, I liked the difference, but I think that another test with brighter conditions would be useful. Overcast skies aren’t really the ideal conditions for these contacts.Teammate Reactions:
- There were lots of doubletakes and one “What the f*** is wrong with your eyes!?”
- “Eye of the Tyler” jokes were made.-

The M600i is hot
Look at the lines of this hot phone from SonyEricsson.
I’d like to have it without the added features though, just talking and texting would be enough.
It’s still not as hot as the hottest hot hot-phone, the Samsung P300
Sure it looks like a calculator from the 80′s, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t kick you in the back to have one.
Ya, the back!

Wii: it’s pronounced “who cares?”
Like the whiny Apple users complaining about the switch from “PowerBook” to “MacBook Pro,” we now have to deal with the complaints about Nintendo changing the “Revolution” to “Wii.”
Are Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation, Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 good names? I don’t think, but I also don’t care. I’ll be too busy enjoying the games.

exactly, who cares? Still going to be an awesome system… still going to get one… maybe in July??

If I could pre-order one, I would.

I don’t like the name, but it won’t factor in deciding to get one.

I have gadget that I made about 5 years ago. It worked very well for me.
I made 4 units and gave them to family and friends to use. The feed back I received were very positive. One comment was that it was the best gadget that he had ever crried in his 1/2 ton truck.
The gadget is a simple pole with a speacial hook on the end to pull items to the tail gate of a truck with a cap on the box. This gadget eliminates having to climb into th truck box to to retrieve items .
This item should be in great demand for most owners of new 1/2 ton trucks due the boxes are so deep that the average person is unable to reach any articles in the box.
this item is very simple to manufacture without a large outlay of money.
I believe that with proper marketing this item should be a big seller both in Canada and tin the U.S.A.
