Laura and I are heading to Ireland for 2 and a bit weeks, so we picked up one of them-there fancy-pants Nikon D40 digitmatal cameras.
I expect to touch a computer as little as possible. But maybe pics will appear on my Flickr page.
Oh and the iPhone is out in the States today. It’s inevitable that I’ll get on when they show up in Canada. The great thing is all the plans offered by AT&T/Apple have unlimited data. Data access is where you get screwed in Canada. If the same plans are available here, then my main argument against the iPhone is gone, other than the price of the device itself of course. :)
I’d like to believe that all the rumors about the Google phone are really just confused rumors that Google is working on applications and tie-ins to the iPhone.
Eric Schmidt is on the Apple board currently, and he’s mentioned that they’re working on more things together.
If I had the chance to build an app for the iPhone, I’d build an old-timey rotary dial.
That’s hot.
