I may finish the Menu system for the game today. At least, that’s the goal. Then, sexy gameplay tuning!

I’m going to need a 2nd (or 3rd) generation iPod Touch for Bluetooth P2P testing.
I wonder if I can write it off? -

iPhone SDK Beta 5 – 1 hour to install. 2 gigs to download. Not lightweight, but it was a simple clean install.

Patrick Klepek’s iPhone Game focused podcast.
Patrick Klepek (who I think is awesome from old 1UP podcasts) has a new podcast focused on iPhone games.
I hope he likes getting spammed, because there will be a flood of promo-codes coming his way.
We’ll be part of that flood. :) -

iPhone application for #CrossFit
Roboboogie Studios has been working on an iPhone application dedicated to logging CrossFit workouts.
I’ve been crossfitting since May of 2007 when Laura got me a BootCamp membership at CrossFit Toronto for my birthday.
Being a Mac person and a developer, I knew it was only a matter of time before I built something to help track my progress.
I started with a webapp that got dusty due to a lack of time. Luckily, this is not the case for the iPhone application, we’ve been actively developing this for a few months now.
We’ve called it As Rx’d and it’s in the approval process right now.
Here’s a shot of the Benchmark selection screen.

Excited? I hope so. Come and check it out at it’s page on RBS.

any way to ask questions before buying? a bit nervous about spending $10 since I've bought most of the ohter workout trackers that don't work well at all for crossfit. Any trials? refunds? if it works, I'll buy in a minute.
The Captcha function on your feedback form prevents using it.

The Captcha on the Roboboogie site? Doh, I'll take a look.
What questions do you have?

Is there any way of adapting this app for CrossFit Football WODs other than creating Ad Hoc WODs?
-
tjweir
Hey Ashley,
What type of adaptations does CFFB need? Other than Quarter Gone Bad, are there other WODs just for CFFB?
We'll absolutely add features for CFFB, the next version after 1.1 will have some additions for CF Endurance.
Thanks,

Hi Garrett,
Yes it is. The recent versions have been solving a bug with data refreshing. By naming Ad-Hoc’s is right at the top of the to-do list.
Thanks

iPhone in Canada – The plans are too expensive.
Ok, so Rogers has done a poor job pricing the iPhone in Canada.
But the only way they’ll learn is for us to not buy an iPhone. We need it to fail so they get the message.

agreed… and for once, I think it could happen.

I hope people don’t give in and get one.
I also hope the recent spectrum auction will add competition and the recommendation to allow foreign companies in goes through.
Bell and Rogers need to be taught a lesson.

Write it off what? You don't even know what a write off is

Do you?

An answer to your question from your friendly neighbourhood financial planner:
Quite probably yes. If you are planning on trying to develop aps for the platform, then it could be considered deductible.

Yah!
