    From StartupCEO

“Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the Air.
You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.
But the other four Balls – Family, Health, Friends and Spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it.”

WORK EFFICIENTLY DURING OFFICE HOURS AND LEAVE ON TIME. GIVE THE REQUIRED TIME TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS & HAVE PROPER REST.

    A few good links

Tim O’Reilly’s article about doing what matters. Tim has an interesting series going urging people to work on stuff that matters. It’s a nice position to take, but sometimes what matters it eating and paying rent. I feel the same way when people tell you to do what you love. Sometimes that means having your heat turned off. It’s pie in the sky, but life needs optimism I suppose.

Fred Wilson reminds us that profits equal revenues minus costs.

And an article linked from the Wilson piece, Chris Anderson analyzes the Economics of Giving it away.
